The Grossmont Union High School District Transportation Department performs over 2,000 field trips carrying over 85,000 students annually to various destinations in Southern California. Our buses are equipped with the latest in technology and travel accommodations.

While school buses are our primary mode of transporting students, arrangements can be made through the Department to schedule charter buses. Please call our office at (619) 644-8186 for further information.

To schedule a field trip bus, simply fax a copy of the Field Trip Transportation Request Form to the Department at (619) 465-0064. Please ensure the form is filled out in its entirety. It is very important to remember to include a budget number on the Request form.

Trip requests must be received a minimum of 72 hours prior to the date of the trip. Any changes to a scheduled trip must be received by our office no later than 48 hours prior to the departure date. Cancellations will be accepted at any time.
